Damon Greer

Damon Greer is an accomplished Project Manager at Benesch since May 2012, leading the Natural Resource and Environmental Permitting team for the Railroad Division, overseeing federal and state permitting requirements. With extensive experience in environmental science, Damon has served as a Senior Environmental Scientist, conducting environmental field reviews, permitting, and mitigation plans for various transportation projects, and has contributed to the successful completion of Environmental Assessments and water quality certifications. Previous roles include Senior Project Scientist and Project Scientist II at Benesch, where responsibilities included conducting environmental compliance audits and providing technical support for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Prior to Benesch, Damon worked for the ODNR Division of Wildlife from 1995 to 2012, where duties encompassed public land management, wildlife research, and human/wildlife conflict management. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Wildlife Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and professional education from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
