James Newberry

James Newberry, P.E., CCM, is a seasoned construction project manager with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Sr. Construction Project Manager at Benesch since August 2016, James has held multiple positions including Resident Project Manager II and Construction Engineer II. Prior to this, James was a Senior Project Manager at Commerce City and worked at the Maricopa County Department of Transportation as Programs & Performance Branch Manager and Operations Support Branch Manager. Additional experience includes a role as Project Engineer II at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. and Construction Manager at Wood, Patel & Associates, Inc. Starting as a Civil Engineering Designer/Inspector at Psomas, James holds a BS in Engineering Management from the University of Arizona, obtained between 2001 and 2006.
