Marc Simmons

Marc Simmons, PE, PMP, is a seasoned Transportation Engineer currently overseeing the Transportation Program for the City of Marietta since February 2018, managing projects from concept to procurement with funding from various sources including SPLOST and GDOT LAP. Prior to this role, Marc co-founded The Escapery, an escape room business that expanded to four rooms and earned top ratings in the Atlanta market. With extensive project management experience at companies like Advanced Systems, Inc., Jacobs, and IntegralGude, Marc has led significant projects such as the ERP upgrade for the Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority. Additionally, Marc served as Group Manager for Atkins Management Consultants and held leadership roles in Engineer's Without Borders, contributing to community-focused engineering projects. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
