Basu Gopal

Basu Gopal, MBBS MD DM FRACP FRCP FASN, has an extensive work experience in the field of nephrology. Basu is currently a board member of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Oceania Southeast Asia Regional Board and a subject editor for the ISN Academy, focusing on chronic kidney disease. Basu has also held various roles within ISN, including being a member of the South Asia Regional Board and the Social Media Education Team.

In 2016, they attended the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, focusing on nephrology, and successfully completed their Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2017. Furthermore, Dr. Gopal attained a specialization in Kidney Transplantation Education by completing the Distinguished Educator TTS program offered by The Transplantation Society in 2013.
