Durga Mithraprabhu

Research Fellow - VCA Mid-career Fellow at Alfred Health

Durga Mithraprabhu is a highly experienced research fellow and principal scientist with over a decade of expertise in liquid biopsy and human pathology. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at Alfred Health and a Principal Scientist at M1000 National Liquid Biopsy Biobank, Durga Mithraprabhu focuses on projects involving mutational characterization and disease progression prediction in multiple myeloma. Additionally, as a lecturer at Monash University, Durga Mithraprabhu teaches courses on human pathology and clinical hematology and immunology. Durga Mithraprabhu holds a PhD in Reproductive Biology from Monash University and an M.Sc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from BITS-Pilani. Prior postdoctoral research at Monash University involved studying activin signaling in hematopoiesis and spermatogenesis.
