Karima Ragab

Karima joined Algebra Ventures as head of PR early 2021. She has over six years of experience in the PR industry having worked at Hill and Knowlton Strategies for four years prior to joining Algebra, where she managed several key accounts including Twitter, Intel, Amazon and Ora Developers, as well as Google, Gilead, Spotify, Coca-Cola, Emirates Airlines and Lenovo.

Karima also worked on the first two editions of El Gouna Film Festival where she took on a series of roles including pitching, staffing and securing interviews, management of the red carpet, supporting with media relations, documentation and content development.

During her college years, Karima was editor for the university’s official newspaper, The Caravan. Her audio documentary produced in one of her Journalism classes earned her second place at the Broadcast Education Association Media Festival 2016 held in Las Vegas.

She received her B.A. from the American University in Cairo with a major in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Business Administration in 2015, and graduated with Summa Cum Laude.
