Ko-Chuan Lee

Scientist at Algen Biotechnologies

Ko-Chuan Lee has worked in the biotechnology and academic fields since 2017. Ko-Chuan began their career as an Exchange Student in the Doudna Lab at University of California, Berkeley in 2017. During their time there, they worked with Dr. Chun-Hao Huang and researched potential cancer drug targets and host cellular response to HCV IRES translation. Ko-Chuan also co-authored an article titled "Applications Of CRISPR/Cas9 Enzymes in Cancer Detection and Therapeutics" with Dr. Huang and Jennifer Doudna. In 2019, Ko-Chuan Lee joined Algen Biotechnologies as a Scientist and Molecular Biologist/ Lab Manager.

Ko-Chuan Lee has a comprehensive educational background. From 2010 to 2015, they attended National Tsing Hua University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language and Literature. Ko-Chuan then continued their studies at National Tsing Hua University from 2015 to 2018, obtaining a Master of Science in Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology.
