Jaysen Reindel

Jaysen Reindel has worked in a variety of roles in the past three years. In 2022 they joined Algenesis Materials as a Staff Research Associate, where they were responsible for HPLC and IC analysis of diffusion dialyzed and hollow fiber filtered algae media. In 2021, they moved to the Food and Fuel for the 21st Century (Pomeroy Group) as a Diffusion Dialysis Specialist, managing the Mech-Chem L-05 Diffusion Dialysis instrument and purifying succinic acid for biobased polyurethane synthesis. In 2019, they were hired at the University of California San Diego - Recreation as a Training Coordinator, where they created community-building and educational workshops and worked to ensure a safe environment for patrons during the pandemic.

Jaysen Reindel is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in General Chemistry from UC San Diego, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022.
