Mehdi Benlahouel is an experienced process engineer with a strong background in seawater desalination projects. Currently serving as the Lead Process Engineer at Algerian Energy Company since June 2019, Mehdi has played a key role in the Fouka II seawater desalination plant, with a capacity of 300,000 m³/d. Prior to this, Mehdi contributed as a Process Engineer on a project involving a 10,000 m³/d desalination plant in Bateau Cassé, Algiers. Earlier professional experience includes quality control at Laboratoires Pharmalliance and internships at Sonatrach and Groupe SAIDAL. Mehdi holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Boumerdes, complemented by training from Geny Soft in 2015.
