Phil Broad

Phil Broad has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Phil has held various senior leadership positions in renowned companies such as Alghanim Industries, InterContinental Hotels Group, Jumeirah Restaurants LLC, Tatweer Food and Beverage Company, Starbucks Coffee Company, Outback Steakhouse, TGI Fridays UK and Ireland, Tesco Stores Ltd, Pizza Hut, and Grand Metropolitan Retailing Ltd.

During their tenure as a Senior Vice President at Alghanim Industries, Phil played a significant role in managing the company's X-cite KSA and Food and Beverage divisions. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Food and Beverage at the same company.

At InterContinental Hotels Group, Phil served as the VP of Food and Beverage for the Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions. Phil was responsible for developing and implementing the company's F&B strategy across various hotel brands, including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn.

As the Managing Director of Jumeirah Restaurants LLC, Phil successfully set up and licensed several casual dining restaurant concepts, including the noodle house and Urbano. Phil also played a vital role in expanding the company's restaurant portfolio.

Before that, Phil served as a Senior Vice President at Tatweer Food and Beverage Company, Managing Director at Starbucks Coffee Company, Managing Director at Outback Steakhouse (Aussie UK Ltd), and Managing Director at TGI Fridays UK and Ireland. Phil played pivotal roles in these companies, including expanding store networks, building strategic partnerships, and leading brand growth.

Phil's career also includes a significant tenure at Tesco Stores Ltd, where they were responsible for operations and commercial aspects of the company's cafes, restaurants, and staff restaurants across the UK. Phil also held various roles at Pizza Hut (UK) Ltd and Grand Metropolitan Retailing Ltd.

Throughout their career, Phil has demonstrated a strong track record in driving growth, delivering performance and profitability, and developing innovative F&B concepts. Phil has a keen focus on people development, brand strategy, and ensuring a responsible and sustainable business.

Phil Broad attended Shiplake College from 1975 to 1980 but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study. Phil then enrolled at Westminster College from 1980 to 1983, where they earned an HND degree in Hotel and Catering Management.
