Magnus Pierrau

Magnus Pierrau has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Most recently, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at AlgoDx starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Research Engineer (Machine Learning) at FOI, Totalförsvarset forskningsinstitut from July 2021 to February 2023, where they focused on machine learning and AI in a defense and security context. Magnus also worked as a Graduate Research Associate at Karolinska institutet from July 2020 to December 2020, where they developed software, hardware, and analyzed data for the Kardamakis Group. Furthermore, Magnus worked as a Project Coordinator Alumni Survey Report at Naturvetenskapliga Fakulteten vid Stockholms Universitet from January 2019 to October 2019, where they produced statistical reports on alumni satisfaction. Magnus also has experience in customer support, teaching, and social activities coordination from previous roles.

Magnus Pierrau began their education journey at Tullinge Gymnasium, where they pursued a degree in Natural Sciences from 2007 to 2010. Magnus then enrolled at Stockholm University from 2012 to 2014 to study Physics, with a focus on Astronomy & Astrophysics. Moving forward, they attended Stockholm University again from 2016 to 2019 and obtained a degree in Mathematics, specializing in Mathematical Statistics. In 2017, Magnus spent a brief period at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, although their degree and field of study during this time are unspecified. Lastly, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master's degree in Machine Learning at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
