Ryan Mathieu is currently working as an AI Research Scientist at WorldQuant and a Quantitative Research Analyst at AlGoGators Investment Fund. Prior to this, Ryan has experience as an Embedded Software Engineer II at Miami-Dade County, IT Software Engineer at a tax collector's office, Full Stack Software Engineer intern at a Stealth Startup, and a Genetic And Machine Learning Laboratory Research Assistant at the University of Florida. Ryan also served as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Miami. Ryan is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of Florida.

The AlGoGators Investment Fund develops and deploys automated algorithmic trading strategies using state-of-the-art infrastructure while incorporating quantitative research and a rigorous risk framework. Comprised of diligent individuals with a keen focus on finance and analytics, our team unites to foster a rich understanding of financial market dynamics through hands-on experience. We have delineated our operations into two pivotal teams, united in their pursuit of optimal financial outcomes: Quantitative Team: Tasked with the analytical rigor necessary for crafting sophisticated trading strategies, this team leans heavily on statistical analysis to constantly refine our approaches to market dynamics. Finance Team: Delving deep into market analysis, this ensemble navigates financial trends and provides the informed insights pivotal in steering our trading objectives on a course grounded in robust financial principles. Our approach is characterized by a multidimensional strategy that leverages both convergent and divergent principles, ensuring a balanced risk profile for our portfolio. We embrace the educational cornerstone of our initiative, fostering a space for continuous learning and readiness for industry challenges ahead. We hold dear a culture rooted in mutual respect, transparency, and the collective pursuit of knowledge, facilitating a collaborative environment where innovative ideas can flourish.
