Carlton H. Baab has over 25 years of experience in the software industry and is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Algolia. Prior to joining Algolia, they served as the Chief Financial Officer and CIO at Alfresco Software where they completed the sale of the company to T.H. Lee Partners in March, 2018.

Before Alfresco, Carlton served as the Chief Financial Officer at Lithium Technologies from August 2010 to December 2012. In addition, Carlton was the President & CEO at TigerLogic Corporation from January 2001 to February 2009.

Carlton has a proven track record of success in growing companies and maximizing shareholder value. Carlton has successfully managed churn, leveraged a hybrid cloud deployment model, and more than doubled revenue during their tenure at Alfresco Software from $45M to the current $110M run-rate. Carlton also raised Series D funding of $45M for Alfresco in September 2014.

In addition to their financial acumen, Carlton has also designed, implemented, and managed company's critical business operational and reporting systems. Carlton was awarded “Cloud Pioneer” by Appirio in 2013 for Alfresco’s design and implementation of the Salesforce.com platform as a complete business operations system.

After Carlton H. Baab graduated from the University of Southern California with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering (with honors), they attended Harvard Business School to earn their MBA.
