Piotr Biegun

Piotr Biegun has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Piotr started their career as a Freelance Editor for Mamstartup.pl, the largest Polish startup magazine, from December 2013 to December 2015. In 2012, they founded Whalla Labs, a technology services company that offers a range of services including software development, testing, consulting, and digital product development. As the CEO and Founder, Piotr was responsible for developing business strategies, acquiring clients, managing projects, and building the company's brand.

From 2016 to 2017, Piotr worked as the Managing Director at Cogision, a UX agency specializing in user research and design. Piotr was involved in helping clients achieve their business goals through the delivery of exceptional user experiences. In 2017, Piotr briefly held the position of Head of Innovation at Apzumi, a technology company providing IT and consulting services.

In 2018, Piotr took on the role of Project Manager at Booksy, a mobile booking solution for the health and beauty industry. Piotr was responsible for overseeing the successful rollout of the platform across multiple countries. Later that year, Piotr joined Hotailors - Business Travel Simplified as the Head of Innovation, contributing to the development of award-winning corporate travel tools that provided companies with improved visibility and control over travel expenses.

From 2019 to 2021, Piotr served as a Board Member at RevDeBug, an observability platform for developers and SREs. Piotr played a key role in implementing automated end-to-end tracing and reducing the time spent on maintaining logging and error recreation.

In 2022, Piotr joined Xopero Software as the Partnership & Alliance Director for Gitprotect.io. Piotr was responsible for establishing partnerships and alliances with major technology companies such as Gitlab, Github, Atlassian, Microsoft, AWS, and GCP. Piotr'srole involved building relationships with resellers, auditors, and devops consultants.

Currently, Piotr holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Algolytics Technologies, a company specializing in technology solutions.

Piotr Biegun completed their education at Poznan University of Economics and Business. From 2007 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Econometrics. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2012, they obtained a Master of Science degree in the same field from the same university.

In addition to their formal education, Piotr also obtained several certifications. In June 2010, they completed the Cisco iExec – Business Essentials program at the Cisco Institute. In June 2009, they earned the Business English Certificate (BEC Vantage) from the British Council. Furthermore, in June 2006, they obtained the First Certificate in English (FCE) from the British Council as well.
