Damien Dunne

Damien Dunne has extensive experience in international recruitment and business development within higher education, currently serving as Associate Director at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since November 2016, following a role as Manager of International Partnerships and Programs. Prior to this, Damien operated as a self-employed consultant in international education and management since 2010. Noteworthy contributions include serving as Secretary/Treasurer and Board Member for the Canadian International Health Education Association from 2017 to 2021, and as a Board Member of the Canada-Arab Business Council from 2016 to 2018. Additional roles included Executive Consultant at Orient Education Services/Algonquin College in Kuwait and Deputy Managing Director at Orient Education Services. Earlier in the career, Damien held positions at The Canadian Bureau for International Education, eventually serving as Director of International Partnerships and Manager of Corporate Development. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in History from Western University obtained between 1995 and 1996.
