Nohad Abou-Hamad, M.Ed., RP(Q), BSc., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and mental health. Since September 2017, Nohad has held various roles at the City of Ottawa, including Coordinator of Human Resources Planning & Development, Program Support Consultant, Training Coordinator, Caseworker, and Senior Administrative Assistant within Employment and Social Services. Nohad also serves as a Customer Service Representative for Algonquin College - AC Online and is a member of the Algonquin College Program Advisory Committee since June 2022. In addition, Nohad works at Joy Health and Research Centre as a Psychotherapist and has been a Course Facilitator at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since September 2019. Nohad's educational background includes a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in the Social Sciences of Health from the same institution.
