Field Placement Liaison at Algonquin College

Sarah Brown-Bennett has extensive experience in student support and employment services, currently serving as a Co-op Student Advisor at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since 2018, providing guidance to students across multiple programs in their co-op journeys. Previous roles include Field Placement Liaison and Employment Officer, where individualized employment assistance was provided to college students and graduates. Prior to Algonquin, Sarah worked as a Caseworker for the Salvation Army Correctional and Justice Services, helping clients fulfill community service requirements. Additionally, experience as a Youth Employment Consultant and Resource & Information Assistant at the JHS Community Employment Resource Centre focused on aiding youth in job search efforts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University and a diploma in Community and Justice Services from Algonquin College.
