Weldon Poapst

Weldon Poapst is a seasoned professional in the fields of animation, design, and education, currently serving as a Professor at Algonquin College since September 2005. Prior to this role, Weldon was the Recruitment Coordinator for Mercury Filmworks® from June 2019 to January 2024. Weldon has extensive experience in graphic web design as a Senior Graphic Web Designer at Intoinfo Inc., where responsibilities included client meetings and design production focused on the Federal Government. Previous roles also include Game Designer at SirTech Games, Producer at Lacewood Animation Studios overseeing the production of over 100 animated series, and various positions at Hinton Animation Studios and Crawley Films, where Weldon managed animation production and technical coordination. Weldon Poapst's educational background includes studies at Sheridan College.
