Yuenan Li is an experienced professional in the fields of geography, environmental studies, and geographic information systems (GIS). Currently serving as the Manager of Crime Analysis and Sr. GIS Developer at Ottawa Police Service since February 2019, Yuenan oversees GIS operational plans and projects. In addition, Yuenan has been a part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa since September 2021, teaching methodological and theoretical approaches in geography. Previous roles include Officer of Location Analysis at Canada Post from October 2016 to February 2019 and Researcher at the Waterloo Institute for Disaster Management. Yuenan holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Ottawa and a Master’s degree in Geography (Geomatics) from the University of Waterloo, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information System from Sun Yat-sen University.
