Juan Melgar has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Juan started their career in 2014 at AHCORP Ecuador, where they worked as a Manufacturing Attendant, involved in reviewing procedures, designing plans, and uploading data into the company system. In 2015, they joined Brett/Robinson Vacation Rentals as a Quality Attendant, responsible for controlling product quality and ensuring accurate shipment quantities. Later that year, they moved to Maderas MM Cía. Ltda. as a Manufacturing Supervisor, where they planned and developed manufacturing and material supply plans, supervised workers, and scheduled maintenance.

In 2018, Juan became an Operations Engineer at Marathon Sports, where they focused on planning, developing, and implementing technical R&D projects. Juan also managed continuous improvement projects and implemented Lean Manufacturing and Just-in-time principles. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at OCA GLOBAL as a Health and Safety Technical Assistant, analyzing elevator records, preparing inspection certificates, and registering data for periodic validation.

Most recently, Juan joined APD S.A. in 2020 as a Project Development Engineer, analyzing project requirements and assessing technological feasibility. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager, where they led project discussions, maintained project documentation, delegated tasks, and ensured effective communication and risk management.

Overall, Juan's work experience demonstrates their ability to adapt to different industries and roles, showcasing skills in project management, technical analysis, manufacturing supervision, and quality control.

Juan Melgar completed their Master's degree in Production Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, from the year 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escuela Politécnica Nacional, from the year 2010 to 2015.
