Sławomir Plamowski

Sławomir Plamowski is a quantitative strategy developer at AlgoTrader. Prior to this, they were a senior fullstack developer VP at BNY Mellon from July 2017 to January 2021. There, they led backend development stream and owned the software quality process. Sławomir also set up continuous deployment process on Git, GitLab, Jenking and Mezos. Furthermore, they introduced best industry standards for software quality using process improvements (code reviews, front-to-back integration tests, continuous delivery) and tools (checkstyle, pmd, classycle, Sonar, Veracode, AppScan). Additionally, they implemented new Angular5 UI components used across many applications and set up a new Wroclaw team in Asset Services Technology. From September 2015 to June 2017, they were a senior software engineer / team lead at UBS. And from June 2013 to September 2015, they were a software architect & developer at Euro Bank S.A. Their first job was as a software engineer at Tieto from September 2012 to May 2013.

Slawomir Plamowski holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Politechnika Wroclawska and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Sławomir also holds certification from Coursera in Functional Program Design in Scala, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Portfolio and Risk Management, Meeting Investors' Goals, Understanding Financial Markets, Google Advertising Fundamentals Exam, Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 6 Programmer, APM Group, Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in Prince2 Foundation, and Code School in Shaping-up-with-angular-js.
