Alex Georgiou

Alex Georgiou is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as Head of Marketing at Algrano since February 2023. Prior to this, Alex held the position of Head of Marketing at IKAWA Coffee from January 2015 to February 2023, successfully contributing to the company's growth from a startup to a scale-up and leading their brand and marketing efforts. As a co-founder of Espresso Mushroom Company from August 2011 to December 2018, Alex gained valuable insights into building a business from the ground up. Previous roles include Commercial Consultant and Marketing Manager at The Fairtrade Foundation, focusing on account management and business leadership in smallholder sourcing, and Community and Partnerships Manager at Cafédirect, where Alex promoted Fair Trade relationships and achieved significant growth in international markets. Alex holds a 2.1 degree in Environmental Technology from the University of Nottingham.
