Giovanni Virgilli

Giovanni Virgilli currently serves as the IT Director EMEA APAC at Ali Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Giovanni held various positions at Carpigiani Group from April 2007 to June 2023, including Director of Information Technology, Technology Manager for Electrical and Electronics, and roles in Research & Development focused on Machine2Machine system projects. Giovanni's career began as a trainee at HP Laboratories from October 2006 to March 2007, where project and development work centered on a Java-based incident management system simulation. Giovanni holds a Master in Business Administration from Alma Graduate School, completed in 2011, a degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Ferrara obtained in 2007, and a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from the same institution achieved in 2004.
