Subimal Sarmah

Subimal Sarmah is an accomplished business executive with extensive experience in sales and management within the construction and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Business Head and Vice President for the Building Division at Aliaxis since April 2024, Subimal leads a retail and institutional business generating an annual revenue of 550 million Euros. Previously, as Business Unit Head and Executive Vice President at Wonder Cement Ltd., Subimal managed operations across West India, achieving significant sales in the cement industry. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., where Subimal oversaw substantial revenue responsibilities in TMT and cement sales, as well as experience at Birla Shakti Cement and Jindal Steel & Power focusing on sales strategies and market expansion. Subimal holds a Fellow Programme (PhD) in Management and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, and a PGDM from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
