Mary Kate Spohr is currently the Manager & Assistant Buyer at Alice & Wonder, responsible for product placement, customer styling, and inventory management. Prior to this role, Mary Kate gained experience as a Sales Assistant at Scout Showroom and as an Intern at Skirt PR, where Mary Kate focused on influencer marketing. Additionally, Mary Kate served as a College Social Media Influencer for Jane & The Shoe, creating content and promoting the brand. Mary Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from DePaul University.

Alice & Wonder is an online shop curating affordable #prettyfunthings for her and home. We aim to find those can’t-live-without pieces for the everygirl and value the confidence that comes with having the perfect dress for a killer day at work or just the right cocktail glasses for a last-minute happy hour. The idea for our online shop came about after owner Ali Reff moved to Chicago in 2008 and quickly discovered that while it’s one of the best cities for fashion, the lifestyle can come with a price tag. Constantly feeling in-between this place of being 22 and needing to pay rent; and being 22 and needing the newest handbag, she decided budget-friendly style shouldn’t be so hard to find. The pieces we offer are ones that we saw and couldn’t live without. They are meant to mix-and-match and accent whatever makes you, you – whether that be adding to your wardrobe or making your home a little cozier. Buy those designer jeans and mix them with something fun and fresh from our shop. Grab an Alice & Wonder vase to pair with the expensive stuff you got for your wedding.
