Bhupesh Kharwa

Bhupesh Kharwa has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Bhupesh currently holds the position of Senior Director, Application Engineering at Alif Semiconductor since May 2022. Before this, Bhupesh worked at Zoetis Inc. as the Senior Director, Diagnostics R&D Software Development from September 2019 to May 2022, where they provided direction to the software development team and ensured the launch of high-quality software for diagnostic instruments and assays.

Prior to Zoetis, Bhupesh served as the Engineering Manager at Trimble Inc., Time and Frequency Division from May 2018 to September 2019. In this role, they oversaw the development of hardware, firmware, and software for time and synchronization products, also evaluating and introducing new technologies for various networks.

Before Trimble, Bhupesh worked at Renesas Electronics America in the IoT BU as the Director of Software Engineering from January 2014 to May 2018. Here, they led the firmware/software development for new micro-controller products, building a team and software infrastructure from scratch.

From February 2000 to January 2014, Bhupesh held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Broadcom Corporation, where they managed firmware and software teams for mobile application processors and touch controllers. Bhupesh was responsible for all aspects of firmware and software development, including hiring a new team, setting up development infrastructure, and engaging with customers.

Earlier in their career, Bhupesh worked at Lucent Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer from November 1998 to February 2000, and at Digital Semiconductor/Intel as a Senior Software Engineer from March 1996 to November 1998.

Throughout their career, Bhupesh Kharwa has demonstrated expertise in software and firmware development, team management, strategic planning, and delivering high-quality products.

Bhupesh Kharwa completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Mumbai between 1984 and 1988. Bhupesh then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University-Sacramento from 1990 to 1993.
