Hossain Hajimowlana

Hossain Hajimowlana, PhD, PE, PEng, serves as the Principal FPGA Emulation Lead at Alif Semiconductor, with a professional background that includes roles as a Senior FPGA Consultant at Merricom and a Senior FPGA Emulation Consultant at Qualcomm. Experience includes FPGA design, emulation, and verification across various companies, including Intel Corporation, where Hossain contributed to designing an LTE Base station, and UBIQOMM, where work focused on digital WIFI receiver components. With a long history at Analog Devices as a Staff Hardware Engineer, contributions to FPGA emulation and high-speed JTAG emulators were significant. Hossain began the engineering career at Invensys, engaged in innovative designs including a patented communication circuit. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, alongside a BSc from Amirkabir University of Technology and an MSc from KNT University of Technology, focusing on microwave communication.
