Alex Ehlers has had a varied and impressive work experience. In 2012, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab, where they designed and performed ultrasound experiments on ex vivo porcine tendons. In 2015, they were a Verification and Validation Engineering Intern at NeuWave Medical. In 2016, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 2017-2019, they were a Systems Engineer at Auris Health, Inc, and a Staff System Engineer and Sr. Systems Engineer at Johnson & Johnson. Currently, they are a Senior Manager, Clinical Products, Product Leader, and Senior Product Manager at Alife.
Alex Ehlers obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2012 and 2016. Alex then continued their studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2017. In 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Systems Design from Cornell University.
