Lauren Matthews

Lauren Matthews has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2015 as a Software Engineering Intern at TIERCEL FOUNDATION. In 2016, they held positions as a Marine Biology Lab Research Assistant at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Marine Physical Laboratory Intern at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. In 2017, they were a Product Manager Intern, Mobile at Ancestry. From 2018 to 2021, they held various roles at Ancestry, including Product Lead, Social and Collaboration, Senior Product Manager, Social and Collaboration, Product Manager, Trust and Collaboration, and Associate Product Manager, Trust and Collaboration. Lauren is currently a Product Lead, Growth at Alife.

Lauren Matthews obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2017. Lauren has also obtained certifications from Ancestry's Privacy Champion Program in March 2020, Scaled Agile, Inc.'s Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager in May 2020, and PADI Scuba Diving Certification.
