Non-Executive Director at Alight

Sarah Chapman has a diverse work experience in the fields of clean energy, climate change, and business development. Sarah is currently the CEO of Glowb, a residential solar brand in the UK. Prior to this, they served as a Non-Executive Director at Alight and as a Trustee and Vice-Chair at WRAP. Sarah has also been an Advisory Board Member at ClimateView. In 2014, they co-founded Faro Energy, where they served as the CEO and played a key role in developing and investing in distributed solar energy projects in Latin America. Sarah also worked as the Chief of Staff at the New Climate Economy Project, an initiative focused on analyzing the economic risks and opportunities of climate change. Sarah's earlier experience includes roles at Climate Bridge and McKinsey & Company, where they specialized in climate finance and clean tech as a management consultant.

Sarah Chapman completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics with a focus on Theoretical Physics and Fluid Dynamics from the University of Cambridge in 2006. Sarah then went on to pursue a Master of Mathematics degree with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics (Part III) specializing in Fluid Dynamics at the same institution, which they completed in 2007.
