Gillian Power

Gillian Power is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Head of Marketing at Alight Media since April 2024. Previously, Gillian held the position of Marketing Director at Yahoo from September 2021 to March 2023, where responsibility included developing the go-to-market strategy and budget for programmatic and creative tech products across EMEA. Earlier roles include Head of Marketing for the UK, Nordics, and Partner Markets at Verizon Media, and Head of Marketing at BBC World Service, leading a global marketing team for its 42 language services. Gillian took a career break for full-time parenting from March 2023 to April 2024. Educational qualifications include a BSc. in Media Technology from the University of Staffordshire and completion of the Marketing Leadership Programme at The Marketing Society.
