Mason Tang

Mason Tang has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Mason started their career at IA Clarington as a Client Services Representative in January 2011 and worked there until September 2012. Mason then joined Aligned Capital Partners Inc., where they held various roles, including Advisor Transition Manager from September 2012 to September 2016, Vice President of Business Development from September 2016 to August 2021, Chief Revenue Officer from July 2021 to August 2022, and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer, starting in August 2022.

Mason Tang obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Queen's University. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Canadian Securities Course in August 2012, the Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers Course (PDO) in July 2018 from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), and the Wealth Management Essentials course in July 2021 from the same institution. Mason also obtained a Conducts and Practiced Handbook certification from the Canadian Securities Institute in November 2021. Furthermore, they completed the Life License Qualification Program from the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) in December 2008.
