Melissa Sommers

Melissa Sommers has a strong background in risk management and policy development. Melissa has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Risk Management at MIC Global Services and Director of Risk Management at BMS CAT, where they created new processes to mitigate risk and improve outcomes. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Risk Manager at RSR Corporation and as a Vice President at Hub International and Marsh, where they provided strategic claim advocacy and led claims teams to support business initiatives. Currently, Melissa is serving as the Director of Global Risk & Policy at Aligned Data Centers.

Melissa Sommers holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from St. Ambrose University and an MBA from the same institution. Melissa also obtained certifications including Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Claims (AIC).
