Kristina Rekstyte-Matiene

Kristina Rekstyte-Matiene has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Research Fellow at Vilnius University, Institute of Biotechnology from September 2001 to June 2002. Kristina then worked as a Laboratory Technician at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from January 2002 to September 2002. From September 2002 to June 2004, they returned to Vilnius University, Institute of Biotechnology as a Research Fellow.

In November 2004, Kristina joined Duonuva Ltd as an Administrative Assistant until September 2006. Kristina then worked at Apitope as a Research Technician from March 2012 to February 2019.

Kristina joined NovAliX in December 2019 as a Research Associate in Oncology and worked there until September 2022. Currently, they are employed at Aligos Therapeutics as a Senior Associate Scientist, starting in September 2022.

Kristina Rekstyte-Matiene pursued their education at VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. From 1998 to 2002, they completed their Bachelor of Bioengineering degree at this institution. Continuing their passion for the field, they went on to obtain a Master of Bioengineering degree from VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from 2002 to 2004.
