Shane Collins has extensive work experience in various roles related to credit management and collections. Shane is currently working as the Credit Team Lead at Alinta Energy since March 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Accounts Receivable Manager at Tabcorp from December 2019 to February 2022, Senior Credit Control Analyst at BASF from July 2019 to December 2019, National Credit Manager at StarTrack from October 2017 to July 2019, and National Credit Manager at Sportsbet from March 2015 to October 2017. Before these roles, Shane worked as the Credit & Collections Manager at EnergyAustralia from March 2012 to March 2015 and held multiple positions at Telstra, including Telstra Business Maxi & Risk Mitigation Team Manager from April 2011 to March 2012, Risk Mitigation Team Manager from April 2009 to April 2011, and Risk Mitigation Senior Credit Consultant from November 2007 to April 2009.

Shane Collins earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Victoria University during the period of 1997 to 1999. Before that, they completed a Diploma in Banking & Finance at Kangan Batman Tafe from 1994 to 1996. Their education started in 1988 at Strathmore Secondary College, where they pursued general Business Administration and Management studies until 1993.
