Frank Honore

VP, Engineering at Alio Medical

Frank Honore is currently the VP of Engineering at Alio Medical. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors for the RAIN RFID Alliance from April 2014 to April 2016. Frank was also the Technical Lead at Verily Life Sciences (formerly Google [X]) from October 2012 to May 2016, where they led a team developing telemetry/radio for a smart contact lens project.

Honore's experience also includes working as a digital hardware developer at Texas Instruments from October 1997 to August 2000, where they worked on projects such as a tera-bit switch, ADSL, and 3G wireless infrastructure. Frank was also a Principal at Tierra Design from January 2009 to October 2012 and a Sr Systems Engineer at ThingMagic from October 2005 to November 2008. Finally, they were the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Webline Communications from January 1996 to December 1996.

Frank Honore completed a SM in EECS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an SB in EECS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Frank has certification from the CITI Program in Biomedical (Biomed) Comprehensive and GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices (U.S. FDA Focus).
