Qasim Butt

Dr. Qasim Butt is a renowned nephrologist who currently serves as the Medical Director at Alio Medical. Qasim has dedicated their career to improving the lives of those with kidney disease and has worked tirelessly to provide the best possible care for their patients.

Dr. Butt began their career as an Interventional Nephrologist with the South Texas Renal Care Group in 2010. Qasim quickly rose through the ranks and was soon named the Medical Director of the Dialysis Unit at Methodist Healthcare System in 2015. In 2013, they joined U.S. Renal Care as the Medical Director of their Central San Antonio Unit.

In their current role at Alio Medical, Dr. Butt continues to provide outstanding care for their patients and is working to improve the overall quality of care for all those suffering from kidney disease. Qasim is truly dedicated to their work and is committed to making a difference in the lives of those they care for.

Qasim Butt has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University, a Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University, and an executive education from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Artificial Intelligence in Health Care. Qasim also has nephrology and internal medicine residencies from LSU Shreveport, as well as fellowships in nephrology and interventional nephrology from the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. Qasim is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology and Internal Medicine.
