Martin Tang

Martin Tang is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive experience in leading operations and growth initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Financial Services at AlipayHK since April 2018, Martin is responsible for launching products such as Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), unsecured personal and card loans, as well as personal financial management tools. Martin has a strong background in open banking, AI, and payment operations, contributing to significant revenue growth in financial products. Prior roles include Head of Growth & APP Operations at AlipayHK, where Martin played a pivotal role in establishing the leading e-wallet in Hong Kong, and various positions in payment and marketing at HKT, HSBC, BOC Credit Card, and China Resources Group. Martin holds a degree in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Business Administration from City University of Hong Kong.
