Ivan Orndorff

Ivan Orndorff has over 30 years of experience as a software engineer and cloud engineer. Ivan has held positions at various companies, including Alithya, The Phoenix Company, Bright Light Systems, hotel SystemsPro, Varec, Peachtree Software, VisiSoft, and ZSoft Corporation.

At Alithya, Ivan worked as a Principal Cloud Engineer, leading the AWS Team and specializing in AWS infrastructure deployment and maintenance. Ivan also mentored engineers, managed client communications, and developed well-architected solutions.

Before joining Alithya, they worked at The Phoenix Company as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing a SaaS-based enterprise software platform that utilized IoT lighting controls. Ivan also worked on cloud enterprise architecture and implemented an IoT messaging system.

Prior to that, Ivan was a Principal Engineer at Bright Light Systems, where they developed an asset management web application and provided technical guidance to the sales team. Ivan was also responsible for designing and maintaining a networked controls infrastructure.
