Fiana Levitin

Fiana is a Senior Scientist and part of the protein science team at AlivaMab Discovery Services (ADS). Fiana has over 15 years of laboratory experience in academic and pharma settings, spanning multiple research disciplines. Fiana received her Ph.D. in molecular biology and immunology from Tel Aviv University, where she worked on the characterization of a novel protein family related to prostate cancer, with a goal to develop highly specific drugs for cancer treatment. Fiana did her postdoc at University Health Network in Toronto, where she focused on tumor hypoxia and identifying molecular targets for cancer therapy with the potential to disrupt hypoxic signaling and hypoxia tolerance. Prior to joining ADS, Fiana was a Research Scientist at Evolve Biologics, where she was working on method development and qualification for characterization of the intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG), polyclonal antibodies purified from human plasma and used as therapeutics for immunodeficient patients.
