Sheikh Muhammad Shahjahan, CIFE, CSAA, is a seasoned professional in Islamic finance, currently serving as DSM- Products & MIS in Wholesale Banking at Alizz Islamic Bank since August 2022. Previously, Sheikh Muhammad held several key positions at Maisarah Islamic Banking Services, including Senior Manager for Segmentation & Product Development and Shariah Auditor from May 2013 to August 2022, as well as Assistant Manager for Product Development & Shariah Compliance at Meezan Bank Ltd from June 2011 to May 2013. Early experience includes working as an ACCA Associate at Meezan Bank Limited and as an Auditor at Muniff Ziauddin Junaidy & Co. Education credentials include passing CFA level 2, achieving Certified Shari’a Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) from AAOIFI, and obtaining Certified Islamic Finance Executive™ from the Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance™, among others.
