Laurent Barmaverain

Laurent Barmaverain has work experience in multiple roles and companies. In 2016, they started as a Trainee Student at Environment Park, where they worked until July 2016. In 2018, they joined Prometeia as a Junior Financial Risk Consultant, and they worked there until February 2020. In 2020, they began working at Nunatac | an element of Alkemy as a Data Science Intern from November 2020 to February 2021. Laurent then became a Data Scientist from February 2021 to September 2022. Currently, since 2022, Laurent works as a Data Scientist at Alkemy enabling evolution.

Laurent Barmaverain's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Istituto tecnico-commerciale I.Manzetti and obtained a Diploma Istituto Tecnico e Professionale in Economia aziendale/manageriale in 2013. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics at the Università della Valle d'Aosta from 2013 to 2016.

Following their undergraduate studies, Barmaverain enrolled in Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and completed a Master's degree in Finance, General from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they participated in an Erasmus program at EPHEC, where they studied International Economics for a brief period.

Building on their academic background, Barmaverain joined Università degli Studi di Torino in 2020 to pursue a Master's degree in Analisi dati per la business intelligence e la data science. Their studies in this field lasted until 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Barmaverain has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they received a Diplôme de Français Professionnel Affaires C1 from Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris (CCIP). Later, in 2019, they completed the Introduction to Data Science in Python course and obtained certification from Coursera Course Certificates. They also earned certifications in Time Series Analysis in Python from DataCamp in 2020 and SAS Certified Specialist: Base Programming Using SAS 9.4 from SAS in the same year. Lastly, in 2020, they completed the Data Visualization with Tableau Specialization course and obtained certification from Coursera Course Certificates.
