Dirk Ombelets

Dirk Ombelets is an experienced professional in packaging technology and project management, currently serving as the Contract Manager for Warehouse & Transport at Alken-Maes since August 2018, and previously held the role of Packaging Technologist. Prior to this, Dirk worked as a Consultant at Altran Belux from November 2015 to August 2018, and as a Project Engineer/Coordinator at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities included project coordination in GMP environments and packaging material engineering. Additional experience includes roles at Group Tormans and ANL Plastics NV, alongside a project leader internship at Panasonic Energy Belgium. Dirk holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Science with a specialization in Packaging Technology from Hogeschool PXL and completed an ASO in Science-Maths at Virga-Jessecollege Hasselt.
