Cody Sheppard

Cody Sheppard, Ph.D., is a seasoned scientist with a strong background in analytical method development and medicinal chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Alkermes since December 2023, Cody previously held similar roles at Enanta Pharmaceuticals and BelCosta Labs, where responsibilities included managing CMO vendors for clinical trials and ensuring regulatory compliance for a leading cannabis testing lab. Experience also includes a Co-Science Director position at Cannalysis and research roles at the CDC and Battelle, as well as early work at GlaxoSmithKline focusing on anti-viral drug discovery. Cody earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and a BS in Chemistry from North Georgia College and State University.
