Cost Accounting Manager at ALKU

Dan Sangeorge started at ALKU in January 2015. He began by helping with various accounting duties, accounts payable, and the weekly revenue report. As the Accounting and Finance department and ALKU grew, Dan’s responsibilities and focus shifted to the cost accounting side and mentoring new employees to help with these responsibilities.

Dan took the cost accounting area and truly owned it. He took an area that had little to no process when he started in 2015 and turned it into a part of the Accounting and Finance department that now has solidified processes that he continues to adapt as ALKU grows, most recently with the implementation of Certify. Dan is always using his knowledge to increase efficiency and save the company money.

Dan is a model example of an ALKU employee. He has been extremely loyal and dedicated to ALKU, never hesitating to help individuals or groups even if it is something he isn’t very familiar with. His upbeat attitude is always rubbing off on everyone in the Finance group, and he has been able to mentor multiple ALKU interns and employees.

As Cost Accounting Manager, Dan will is responsible for ensuring proper weekly payments and appropriate reporting of company costs. Additionally, he works to maintain great relationships with ALKU’s vendors, maintains accounting and classification for all fixed assets, manages Certify, and continues to adapt efficiencies as ALKU grows.
