Tara Thompson

Tara Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tara started their career as a Nonprofit Bookkeeper & Consultant in 1999 and continued until 2004. Tara then worked as an Educator (Math and Science Teacher) at Grace Christian Academy from 2004 to 2017, where they implemented effective lesson plans and directed the yearbook staff. Tara also served as an Educator (Science Teacher) at Christian School District from 2017 to 2020, maximizing learning through well-designed lesson plans. Tara further expanded their skill set by working as an Assistant Director at WTMM Adult Day Healthcare Center from 2009 to 2020, where they contributed to organizational sustainability and developed policies and procedures. In 2020, they became a Virtual Learning Coordinator at Christian School District, overseeing compliance with virtual instructional programs and creating an online learning experience. Additionally, they worked as a Medicaid Billing Specialist at Loving Care Adult Daycare in 2016, ensuring maximum Medicaid payments and resolving claim denials. Currently, they are the Business Administrator- Team Administrative Lead at All American Gymnastics & Super Ninja, where they partner with operations directors, assists with budget planning, and strategizes to optimize processes.

Tara Thompson, MSA, is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Strategy and Innovation from Capella University, which they are expected to complete by 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Administration with a Project Management emphasis from Lindenwood University. Tara's educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
