Beth Horwitz has a diverse work experience in the field of homelessness and social policy. Beth is currently the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at All Chicago Making Homelessness History, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago as a Senior Policy Analyst from 2016 to 2019. Beth also held various roles at the Illinois Collaboration on Youth, including Program Director and Project Director, from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they worked at HEARTLAND ALLIANCE HEALTH as a Systems Integration Manager from 2012 to 2013. Beth has also gained experience in government programs as a Presidential Management Fellow-SAMHSA at the US Department of Health and Human Services from 2011 to 2012. Beth has also interned at Polk Bros. Foundation and the City of Chicago - Office of the Mayor. Furthermore, Beth has worked at Shelter Network and the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless in roles related to coordinating children's programs.
Beth Horwitz obtained a Master of Arts degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago in 2011. Beth also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Barnard College. In addition to their formal education, Beth obtained a certification in Diversity Recruiting from LinkedIn in July 2021.
