Jacques Michel

Jacques Michel has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Special Projects for Strategic Initiatives at Volvo Group since October 2001. Over the years, Jacques has held several senior positions including Senior Vice President of International Sales for UD Trucks and JVs, and Senior Vice President for Sales Group Trucks Asia and JVs. Previous roles include leadership positions in sales and management in various regions including Asia, Oceania, Thailand, and Indonesia, as well as project management in emerging market sourcing. Additionally, Jacques served as a board member for Eicher Trucks and Buses from July 2016 to November 2019 and worked as Purchasing Manager at Mack Trucks, Inc. from August 1999 to September 2001. Jacques holds a Master of Engineering degree from EPMI - ECAM, earned between 1994 and 1999.
