Guillaume Barbier

Guillaume Barbier is currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Synbio at All G Foods since April 2024. Previously, Guillaume held various strategic and leadership roles, including Science Strategist at CSIRO, VP of R&D at Provectus Algae, and Senior Technical Director at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., where responsibilities included designing customer-specific product development programs and leading multidisciplinary teams. Additional experience includes executive editing for Elsevier and project leadership in key biotechnological advancements at Novozymes and NECi Superior Enzymes. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from Michigan Technological University, alongside multiple engineering degrees, highlighting a strong foundation in biotechnology and metabolic engineering.
