Hitoshi Hokamura

Hitoshi Hokamura is an accomplished professional specializing in food culture and technology, currently serving as an Advisor for Collaboration & Startups at Gastronomy Innovation Campus Tokyo and a Visiting Professor in Food Culture Design at Kyoto University of the Arts. Hitoshi maintains a prominent role at Scrum Ventures as both an Advisor and Partner, and advises multiple organizations including Tokyo Food Institute and Food Tech Studio – Bites!, which Hitoshi founded and chairs. Hitoshi is also an editorial supervisor and co-author of "Food Tech Revolution" by Nikkei Business Publications, and holds the position of Tech & Gastronomy Expert at LABe Digital Gastronomy Lab at the Basque Culinary Center. As a co-founder of SKS Japan and a special advisor at All Turtles, Hitoshi contributes to the integration of science and technology in culinary arts, while also serving as a Strategic Advisor at Beta Catalyst. Hitoshi holds an MBA from IMD and studied at INSEAD and The University of Tokyo, where a degree in Civil Engineering was earned.
